The bamboo woven ware in Chengdu has a history of over 100 years. Bamboo filaments are woven around porcelain manufactured in Jingdezhen of Jiangxi province (where the famous Jingdezhen porcelains are manufatured).
All the wares are characterized by carefully selected bamboo, hair-thin filaments, woven close to the porcelain cast and ingeniously hidden filament ends.
In addition to bamboo woven porcelain wares, bamboo fruit plated, book marks, teacup mats, etc. are also popular in Chengdu.
The Chnegdu Bamboo Woven Porcelain Cast Factory is the only place in China to make such products.
