Mt. Kalashi and Lake Manasarovar are at Baga area. Mt. Kalashi is 25km to the north of Baga, Manasarovar is 21km to the south of Baga, Mt. Namnani is to the south of the lake, elevation is 7694m.

For adventurers, they have a alternative on route, the first is starting from Lhasa, passing by Sgigatse ,Lhatse, Saga, to Baga village, the second is Starting the tour from Nepal side, through Zhangmu into China, then drive to Nyelam, at the Laxongla pass, turn to the left to pass by Jirong and Saga to Baga village.

The roads conditions depend on weather. The best time to tour Ngari (Mt. Kalashi &Lake Manasarovar) is From May through June, and From September to Middle of October. The most dangerous and difficult duration is in July, August and early September, because the much rainfall will make the road muddy, the jeeps and trucks are easy to be caught in the roads.
