how to design your tour

1. How long your holiday for this trip is

the length of your holiday will determine where you will tour, and how the holiday will be arranged

2. What type of tour do you want to take, please choose one from the below

3. how many people of you will be together for this tour?

the more the tourists in the group are, the cheaper the tour cost will be;

if you are travel in single, the cost will be very high; if you are travelling in a group of 2 persons, the cost will be almost halved (air tickets cost is not counted in)

In any case, if the number of group members is at odds, single room supplement will be charged.

4. what hotel you wish to use for your tour?

the room charge (per night basis) in 5 star hotel or 4 star hotel is very high; but the service, like language service, is qualified.

but 3 star hotel is very common and very easy to be found, the hotel room cost much lower than that by 4 star hotel or 5 star hotel.

it is the same situation in Tibet.

5.  where you want to tour?

  • the more places you tour, the more expenses you will have to pay.
  • the longer of your holiday, the higher of your tourexpense.
  • if you cover Tibet into your holiday, the tour cost won't be cheap; because, first of all, the airfare (to and from) will be over RMB3300.00 or more per person (by USD/RMB rate on July 10th, the airfare is USD486.00 or more PER PERSON); generally, there is no discount on Lhasa flight.

6. from where you are planning to enter and leave Tibet?

you can fly to Lhasa, capital fo Tibet A.R., from Chengdu, Beijing, Chongqing, Kunming, Zhongdian, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Shanghai, and from Kathmandu fo Nepal.

Kathmandu - Lhasa flight is only avaiable on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Flights to other domestic cities as specified above are daily basis; EXCEPT Chengdu, all flights to Lhasa from a domestic city are taking off in the morning before 09:30

You need to confirm your entry city to Tibet; after the paper issued, you cannot change your entry city; for example, in the beginning, you cofnirmed Chengdu to be your entry city either by train or by air, after the paper applied, you cannot change the entry city to Xi'an or Beijing.

If you want to change, you must give us at least 15 WORKING days (EXCLUDING Saturday and Sunday), we will re-do your tour program and put the application again for permission; this requires paying extra money.

after your tour inside Tibet, you can choose to leave Tibet by train, by air or by road; you need to tell us how you want to leave Tibet; because, on the applied paper, the travel route will be marked and specified; for example, if, on the applied paper, the travel route is Lhasa - Gyangtse - Shigatse - Sakya - Mt. Eevrest - Zhangmu - Kathmandu, this means you must leave by air and exit into Nepal, you cannot change to leave by air to other city in China; and one more example, if the approved travel route on the issued permit is Lhasa-Gyangtse- Shigatse-Lhasa-Beijing, this means you will leave Tibet for Beijing after the tour ends, then you cannot change the route to go to Kathmandu of Nepal by road

7.  if you travel to Tibet, how long you will stay in Tibet is determined by the tour program; generally, you must enter Tibet before the paper expires; and you shall leave Tibet before the paper expires

but if you want to stay longer than the length marked on the issed paper, you must let your guide know 3 or 4 days before the tour ends; the applied paper can be extended one time (if time is allowed)

8. send us your query and we will make you a tour program and give you tour costbe tween 24 and 72 hours; contact us:
