Forbidden City, BeijingForbidden City is also called 'Gu Gong', is the royal palace to the successive emperors of Ming dynasty and Qing dynasty. its construction began in year 1406 and was finished in year 1420, spanning two dynasties and 24 emperors on throne. 'Gu Gong' has a land area over 720,000 square meters, its complex area is around 150,000 square meters,, and there are 9999 rooms in total. Forbiddden City is located in the center of Beijing city, capital of PR China, and is surrounded by high walls, the measure of the wall is 750 meters from its west to its east and 960 meters from the north to the south, its total land area is over 720,000 square meters.
