Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong - Ruo'ergai - Namo - Hongyuan - Ma'erkham - Xiaojin - Rilong - Chengdu

Day01: Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou (430KM)

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: 4* Gesang Hotel or same level

Drive to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu city in the early morning. It takes you around 10 hours.

Day02: Jiuzhaigou sightseeing

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: 4* Gesang Hotel or same level

Sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. Visit the Jiuzhaigou nature reserve, which is listed in the book of UNESCO. It is made up of several valleys and each has its own special charms.

Day03: Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong to Chuanzhusi town

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: 3* Chuanzhu International Hotel or same level

Drive south to Huanglong, visit the Huanglong nature reserve in the UNESCO book. After it, drive to Chuanzhusi town.

Day04: Chuanzhusi to Ruo'ergai to Namo

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: local guesthouse

Drive 280km to Namo. Pass Ruo'ergai county town; in 1930s, Chinese Red Army held two meetings here, one is Mao'ergai conference, the other is Baxi conference, these two meetings decided the route of Chinese revolution and the destiny of Red Army again.

Day05: Namo sightseeing

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: local guesthouse

Visit Girdigoin monastery (Langmu monastery). It is located at the border area between North Sichuan and South Gansu province. Then trekking and visiting the Namo Valley.

Day06: Namo to Tangke to Hongyuan

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: local hotel

Drive to Hongyuan county. At Tangke, visit the Suokorzang monastery (built in 1658) by the bend of Yellow river (it was said that this bend is the first one of Yellow river). At Hongyuan, visit the Dharma wheel monastery (of Nyingmapa order, built in 1646).

Day07: Hongyuan to Ma'erkham

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: local hotel

Drive 186km to Ma'erkham county, at Somang, visit Zokorgyi castle, Charke monastery and ruins of Polinjiasha (name in Chinese Pingyin), this Polinjiasha was the only one military administration organ in Tibetan area. Tang dynasty stationed army there to govern Aba area. At Ma'erkham, visit Ma'erkham monastery (1800 years old).

Day08: Ma'erkham to Danba to Xiaojin

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: local hotel

On the way, enjoy the special construction along the road. Visit Zosgyi family temple at Jimu, the Changdrok monastery (of Nyingmapa order, over 1000 years old) at Sawagyo village (24km into a valley, 40km before arriving at Jinchuan county) and a local style castle at Zengdha.

Day09: Xiaojin to Rilong

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: 3* Siguniang Hotel or same level

When arrive at Rilong, go and visit the Shuangqiaogou valley in Mt. Siguniang area. Which is the most beautiful one among the famous 3 gullies, it has a length of 34.8km, there are more than 70 mountain peaks over 4000m inside it.

Day10: Changpinggou Sightseeing

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: 3* Siguniang Hotel or same level

Visit and trek inside Haizi Valley of Mt. Siguniang area today.

Day11: Rilong to Chengdu

Meals: B/L/D

Hotel: Home Inn Hotel or same level

Climb over the Balangshan pass to get to Wolong, where giant pandas are being protected and researched. in late afternoon, gettiing back to Chengdu and check into the reserved hotel.

after such a long trip, you need time to get relaxed, therefore, we suggest you leave Chengdu next day
