Day04 Beijing to Chengdu by airMeals service: B/L Take morning flight to Chengdu, upon your arrival, guide will meet you. After lunch, you go and have the exciting tour to see the world treasure animal - Pandas in the Panda research centre for breeding in the north of this city. At night you may go and see the wonderful Sichuan opera - highlights on Face changing, which is a masterpiece of the Sichuan opera, the actor will peel off his air thin mask just before your eyes, but you can not find the secrets of it. (self pay) Day05 Chengdu to Lhasa by airMeals service: B/L Around 06:30AM board plane to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet autonomous region, with an average elevation of over 4000m, Lhasa is just located at the very centre if the snow highland with its elevation of 3650m. On the way to Lhasa city, you will have a dream like feeling of enjoying the wonderful highland view along the YaluZangbu, the biggest river on this Tibet highland. In the afternoon, you are free to get accilimized to the high elevation. Day06 Lhasa sightseeingMeals service: B/L In the morning, visit Potala palace (winter palace for Dalailama), Jhokang temple, Parkor street, Jokhang temple is the most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, for inside a gold gilded Syakamuni Bhudda statue is worshiped, in the temple, you will surely be impressed by the pilgrims action and their behaviors, for they are so devote and so pious to Buddhism. After here you are free to walk around in the city, enjoy the local folklore and its tradition. Day07 Lhasa to Namtso LakeMeals service: B/L Visit Tsepung monastery which is the most famous one in Lhasa city, and it is one among the 6 most well known monasteries for Gelupa in Tibetan area. In the afternoon, drive to Namtso by passing Yangbajing and Dangxiong. Stay overnight by the lake in simple guesthouse. Advise you to leave Lhasa aroud 12:00 at noon. So when you get to the lake side you have time to see the sunset.
Day08 Namtso lake to LhasaMeals service: B/L After you view the sunrise, if you like you can stay more hours there, you can walk in this island. It will take you about 2.5 hours. After lunch you drive back to Lhasa.
Day09 Lhasa sightseeingMeals service: B/L Today visit the imposing Tibet museum, it is a place worth to see, inside exhibits a lot of historical collections of thing about Tibet arts, arctecture, religion, politics, and so on, in the afternoon, visiting the Sera monastery, there is a good site to learn how lhamas in Tibet monasteries study, and debate. Day10 Lhasa to Chengdu by airMeals service: B/L In the morning, you are free to walk around before the agreed departure time; on the way to airport, go to visit the famous Nyingmapa monastery - Mintorlin monastery; in history of Tibetan Buddhism, only Nyingmapa order and Kardhangpa Order didn't invovle into locap politics. Take mid afternoon flight back to Chengdu, you will arrive at Chengdu around 1800PM. Guide will meet you at airport and transfer you to hotel. First, we visit it by boat. On the river, you can have a view for the Buddha's Panoramic. Then go to the mountain, visit temples and the big buddha. In the afternoon, drive back to Chengdu, visit Taoist temple - Qingyang Palace. During your stay in Chengdu, we will arrange you to taste as many local Sichuan foods as your time allows. Day12: Chengdu sightseeingMeals service: B/L In the morning, take car to Mt. Qingchengshan (65KM, around 1.5 hours drive). Mt. Qingcheng (or Mt. Qingchengshan) is one of the most attractive mountains close to Chengdu city, and is thought to be the holy mountain to Taoists pilgrims; in history of China, Qingchengshan is the origin of the birth of Taoism; in afternoon, go to Dujiangyan for visit to Er-wang Miao temple and the famous Dujiangyan Water Project, which has been over 2250 years and still been in functioning to irrigate thousands of hecters of farmlands; it is because of this water project that makes Chengdu Plain to be one of the most fertile farming areas in China. Day13: Chengdu sightseeingMeals service: B/L In the morning, visit the lovely panda bears at Chengdu Panda Feeding & Research Center, which is in the northeast of Chengdu and is one of the most well known panda research center and the most attractive place for tourists which has limited time, without going to Wolong panda research center (160 kilometers to the north of Chengdu); in the afternoon, visit Wenshu temple and Wenshu Fang (Ancient style buildings around Wenshu temple). Day14: Chengdu to Guilin by airMeals service: B/L Fly to Guilin by morning flight, in the afternoon, guided to visit Fubo Hills and Reed Flute Caves. Because there are many international flight leaving Shanghai, therefore, when you send me your tour quest, please tell me when your international flights will leave China; if your time allowed, today's sightseeing is worth. Suggest visits: Drive about 150 kilometers to Suzhou "Venice of Orient", to visit local famous Chinese traditional and historic old Gardens, such as Zhouzhen Yuan (The Humble Admisttrator's Garden), Wangshi Yuan (the Master - of - Nets Garden), Liu Yuan (Lingering Garden), Hu qiu (Hill of Tiger), Changlang Pavillions (Fish watching spot) Tongli is famous for its waters and local traditional villages with strong features of Chinese buildings.
