7 days Lhasa - Samye - Tsetang - Mintorlin

Day01:  Leaving Chengdu Railway station for Lhasa

At 17:30, board the train, at 18:18, the train (T22/23) leaves Chengdu station for Lhasa.
While on the train, you take care of your own meals and drinks

Day02: on the train

Day03: Arrival in Lhasa city, capital of Tibet A.R.  ------------- 3 star hotel

At 18:28, the train (T22/23) reaches Lhasa railway station; at the exit of the railway station, you will be met by your guide and then transferred to the reservaed hotel. there is no meals service tonight.

Day04: Lhasa city sightseeing       (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel

Today, guided to visit Drepun monastery in the morning; Drepun monastery, also called Tsepun monastery, is the biggest functioning monastery in Tibet A.R. this visit requires whole morning;
In the afternoon, first, drive to Sera monastery for a visit, then drive back to visit the famous Jokhang temple, and stroll around the local market Parkhor Bazaar.

Day05: Lhasa city sightseeing       (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel

Today, guided to visit Potala palace, the landmark of Lhasa city.
In the afternoon, Drive you to visit the famous Yangdrok lake, which is about 100 kilometers to the southwest of Lhasa city
---- note: You can choose to visit Ganden monastery instead of do sightseeing to Yangdrok lake; Ganden monastery is about 60 kilometers to the north of Lhasa city and is the first Gelupa sect monastery built in 1409;

Day06: Lhasa to Tsetang        (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel 

Tsetang is the regional capital of Shannan prefercture of Tibet A.R.; on the way there, visit Samye monastery, this monastery is thought to be the 1st monastery in history of Tibet
After arrival at Tsetang city, check into hotel first, then do tour to visit Tibet's first palace - Yongbulakang palace, which is 15 kilometers to the south of Tsetang city, having a overlooking view

Day07: Tsetang city to Mintorlin monastery and then fly to leave Tibet           (B/L) ----- no hotel service

After having breakfast, drive to Lhas aiarport, on the middle way, drive to visit the famous Nyingmapa monastery - Mintorlin monastery; this monastery is one of the several monasteries to the Red Hat sect (Nyingmapa order); Mintorlin monastery is built in a village and surrounded with retile farmlands and peaceful villages;

After having lunch, you take afternoon flight to leave Tibet; you can select to fly to Chengdu, Beijing, Xi'an, Diqing, Xining, Chongqig and Shanghai; we will buy you the air ticket in advance based on your request.
