Lhasa -- lake Namtso - Reting monastery - Lhasa - Gyangtse - Shigatse - Tsetang - Samye monastery - Tsetang - Mintorlin (11 days )

Day01: Fly to Lhasa by air    (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel

Fly to Lhasa; your guide will meet you at Lhasa airport, and then sent to Lhasa city and check into the reserved hotel.
In the rest of the day, you are free to arrange your time, (1): having rest at hotel or have slow walk around; (2): do tour to local bazaar - Parkhor market for fun

Day02: Lhasa city sightseeing       (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel

Today, guided to visit Drepun monastery in the morning; Drepun monastery, also called Tsepun monastery, is the biggest functioning monastery in Tibet A.R. this visit requires whole morning;
In the afternoon, first, drive to Sera monastery for a visit, then drive back to visit the famous Jokhang temple, and stroll around the local market Parkhor Bazaar.

Day03: Lhasa city to Lake Namtso     (B/L) ---------- Lakeside Guesthouse

Today, guided to visit Potala palace, the landmark of Lhasa city.
In the afternoon, Drive you 250 kilometers to Lake Namtso, which is about 250 kilometers to the north of Lhasa city; Lake Namtso is one of the most beautiful lakes in Tibet and is thought to be the 1st biggest lake and the 2nd holiest lake in Tibet. on the way to NAMTSO Lake, do tour to Ganden monastery, which is the 1st monastery to Yellow Hat (Gelupa sect).

Day04: Lake Namtso to Lhasa via Reting monastery and Linzhou county         (B/L) ------------ 3 star hotel

After your time enjoying the grand surise over the lake, drive you to Reting monastery in Linzhou county; in 1940s, Regent Reting was from this monastery; and this monastery was also the Home monastery to Khardangpa sect, which was of the major orders of Tibetan Buddhism in Tibet history.

Day05: Lhasa to lake Yangdrok to Gyangtse to Shigatse             (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel 

Drive to Gyangtse town, visit the famous Gyangtse Kumbum monastery, alse named as Baijusi; after here, go on drivin gto Shigatse

Day06: Shigatse to Tsetang          (B/L) ---------- 3 star hotel 

In the morning, visit Tashilunpo monastery, which is the residence to successive Pancha Lamas in history.
After lunch in Shigatse, drive 335 kilometers eastward to Tsetang, which is the regional capital of Shannan prefercture of Tibet A.R.;

Day07: Tsetang to Samye to Tsetang       (B/L) ----------- 3 star hotel

Today, drive 100 kilometers toSamye village, visit Samye monastery, this monastery is thought to be the 1st monastery in history of Tibet
After getting back to Tsetang city, do tour to visit Tibet's first palace - Yongbulakang palace in the sunset time, which is 15 kilometers to the south of Tsetang city, having a overlooking view

Day08: Tsetang city to Mintorlin to Lhasa              (B/L) ------------  3 star hotel

After having breakfast, drive back to Lhasat, on the middle way, drive to visit the famous Nyingmapa monastery - Mintorlin monastery; this monastery is one of the several monasteries to the Red Hat sect (Nyingmapa order); Mintorlin monastery is built in a village and surrounded with retile farmlands and peaceful villages;

Upon your arrival back to Lhasa city, you are free.

Day09: Leaving Tibet by taking train

1 hour before the train leaves, you will be sent to Lhasa railway station and you take train to your next destination.

Day11: Arrival at your next destination

Train gets to your next destination; if your tour through us has next service, you will be met by your guide and start your next leg of tour in China.
