Meili Snow Mountain (also called Prince Snow Mt.) is seated at the west end of the White Horse Snow Mountain, higher and more elegant compared with the White Horse. The local Tibetans regard it as a Holy Mountain. Each year in autumn, the Tibetan people come from far and near gathering here for Hajj the Prince Snow Mountain. One thing we would like to warn you is that climbing Meli Mountain could be very dangerous. Several attempts have been made to conquer Meli Mountain since 1990, but all failed.
In Tibet, there are 13 holy mountains, among them; Meili Snow Mt. is regarded as No.1 because it is the only male, in Tibetan legend, the main peak of Meili, Kawagebo, is a handsome prince. Every year in autumn, the Tibetans from Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai and Tibet will take a pilgrimage trekking around the holy mountain, to worship the prince, to pray for good future. To many Tibetans, this pilgrim is the most important thing in their life, because they believe, trekking once they can get a lifetime's peace and safe, if they can make this trekking for 3 times in this life, then they can go to the paradise after this life. This pilgrim trekking has more than 600 years history, the scenery on the way is breathtakingly beautiful, the ecology system is well preserved, even the animals you meet are not afraid people because nobody want to hurt them, all the villagers are very friendly and hospitable. You will not believe it until you come to take this trekking by yourself. We think this is the most classic trekking route in China. It's guaranteed unforgettable.
Day01 Arrive Kunming

Day02 Day trip at Kunming
Day trip to Stone forest, bird and flower market. Overnight hotel
Day03 Fly to Zhongdian (Gyelthang)
Take a morning flight to Zhongdian (3300m), visit Tibet village and Songzanglin temple. Overnight hotel
DAY04 SHANGRI LA - DEQIN (3300 M) (B/L/D)
After breakfast drive amidst impressive alpine scenery to Deqin. On the way there, the Dongzhulin Monastery waits to be explored. The monastery is an important branch of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism (Yellow Hats) and features 3 huge three-dimensional mandalas made of gold and jewels, unique to eastern Tibet. DAY05 Deqin to Yangzan, trek to YongZhi(2470m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Drive 3 hours to Yangzan(1960m),then trek 4hours to YongZhi camp(near village). Over night camping
Day06 Trek to yongnan camp(2900m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 7.5hours to Yongnan camp. today we will cross the “dongla pass” 3261m , visit the beautiful River
valley Over night camping
Day07 Trek to MaNiTon(3340m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 5hours to Manitong camp Over night camping
Day08 Trek to ZiShuTong (3750m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 7.5 hours to Zishutong, today we will cross another pass named “DongKaLa”(4470m) ,for the Tibetan, this pasture means “the stone step to the heaven”. It is the hard day. Overnight camping
Day 09 Trek to QuNaTong (2560m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 7 hours to QuNaYongNa(QuNaTong), today .most of time we trek alone “SheQu river”

Day10 Trek to Aben village(2250m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 6hours to NongTongLa pass(3690m, in Tibetan means the place where only can see the sky) plus 4.5hours trek down to the Aben Tibet village Overnight home stay or camping
Day11 trek to Longpu village (1750m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 3hours along with the Quna River to Nu River gorge, and then take the local bus transfer to Chawalong Tibet village, Trek 3 hours to Longpu village

Day12 Trek to GeBu village (2400m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 6.5hours to GeBu village. Climb 3hours to TangDuiLaKa pass(3360m) then trek down to Lada village(beside the ZhaYuQu river) and GeBu village Overnight camping or home stay
Day13 Trek to DaGuLa mushroom collect place (3850m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 7hours to DaGuLa , climb whole day ,on the way cross the GeBu pass(2350m) . Overnight camping
p.s: there have not so rich water ,maybe have to carry water from other place by horse
Day14 Trek to LaDe village (3080m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 7.5 hours to LaDe village. morning we trek 1hour to DaGuLa pass(4200m), trek down for long time and hard road to DeLaDeZhiKa, a small temple (2680m) ,then climb 1.5 hours to LaDe village.

Day15 Rest Day in Lade / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Day16 Trek to MeiQiu-BuGong (4200m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 6 hours to MeiQiu-BuGong, climb and hard day. Overnight camping
Day17 Trek to ChuZom (4200m) / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 5hours to ChuZom ,morning we trek 3hours to the ShuoLa pass (4810m),then down to the ChuZom pasture. Overnight camping
Day18 Trek to Meilishi village, bus back to DeQin / Outer Pilgrimage Kora
Trek 6.5hours to the MeiLiShi village (2200m). Trek long distance down to the village then drive 2.5hours back to DeQin(3320m) Overnight hotel
End of trekking part.
Day19 DeQin-Shangri-la
Back to Shangri-la, drive 6.5 hours, and on the way enjoy view. (B/L/D）
Day20 Shangri-la—KunMing--home
Take a morning flight from Shangri-la to Kunming, have a city tour, in the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your departure. (B）
